Modest equipment – just the poles and snow rings themselves. I concluded that this savings on quantity has translated into high quality of the poles themselves. They look solid, lightweight, duralumin (not aluminum!). This is not the first time I’ve bought poles from this company; they serve well, break slowly and require effort to do so. I hope to upgrade soon for snowy hikes.
